This makes it suitable for all needle or cartridge configurations, as well as all skin types, pigment densities and tattoo styles.

It's a highly versatile machine thanks to its adjustable stroke function. For example, when working on fine lines, you may come across delicate skin. The ideal solution is to keep the tension intact and soften the blow by reducing the stroke length. On the other hand, when you're tattooing large lines or your customers have thicker skin, you may need to apply more pressure to ensure solid coverage. The perfect solution is to maintain tension and increase the sharpness of your stroke by extending the stroke length.

When you're using a '1 stroke' machine with a 4.0mm stroke for shading, you struggle with noticeable pixelation when you're looking for soft shading. With the Avenger 3 Pro, on the other hand, you can switch to a 3.2 mm stroke, increase the tension and work three times faster for incredibly smooth shading.

Here are the strokes to choose from to get the look you want:
3.2 mm (from 100 to 130 Hz): For fast, easy, fantastic pixel-free greyscales. What's more, irritation and redness will be minimal.
3.5 mm (from 85 to 115 Hz): For delicate shades of grey, smooth colour fill and rich colours for those who prefer to work with soft machines.
3.8 mmm (from 80 to 110 Hz): Ideal for colour fill, as well as fine to medium lines and stable results.
4.2 mm (from 70 to 110 Hz): An advanced mode for fast colour fill and medium to large lines. As well as well-executed shading.
4.7 mm (60 to 100 Hz): For ultra-fast filling, solid colours and large lines, as well as aggressive shading.
5.5 mmm (from 30 to 70 Hz): This mode should be handled with care.

This machine has a replaceable battery ( Panasonic 18500 included) that you can charge both in the machine or with an external battery charger. Battery life depends considerably on your speed and stroke settings. For example, a frequently used mode for lines and filling with a stroke of 4.2mm at 85 Hz. Using this mode will give you up to 7 hours of working time. If you forget to charge your machine before a session, you can charge part of your battery for up to 1.5 hours' running time in just 15 minutes. Thanks to the intelligent Smart Charge system built in, it quickly replenishes fully discharged batteries and switches to a slower charging mode when the battery reaches 80%, prolonging its life. And if you need to replace the battery quickly, you can do so by easily opening the battery compartment cover.

The motor in the Avenger 3 Pro is a state-of-the-art brushless M3Pro motor with a power output of 12.6 W, equipped with an additional heavy flywheel, it is always powered from 12 volts. (Speed is not adjusted with voltage but by tilting the motor windings.)
