The Round Liner is a must-have, the absolute basis for creating impeccable lines. As the name suggests, the circular arrangement of the microtips creates a rounded shape, ideal for drawing clean, precise lines. The round liner is often used for these tattoo styles: Dotwork, all complex lines, lettering, Japanese, Traditional and Neo Traditional, Geometric, Tribal or Samoan.

What size needle should I use for tattooing? Depending on the effect you want, 3RL, 5RL and 7RL (Round Liner) are the sizes most commonly used for drawing fine to medium lines. The higher the number, the thicker the line. For example, 9RL and above will produce thicker lines.
