The Spektra Flux is the sequel to the popular rotary Xion. The Spektra Flux power supply is a removable battery known as the PowerBolt, which allows artists to use their machine wirelessly without the need for cables or power supplies.

Because it's interchangeable, you can quickly and easily switch to an auxiliary battery (sold separately) when the charge runs out, so you can keep working without any problems. PowerBolt contains a lithium-ion battery with a USB-C connection and dynamic power management, allowing the battery to be charged and used simultaneously.

It offers fast charging speeds of up to 1.5 A and an operating time of up to 10 hours, depending on the type of cartridge and voltage used. What's more, the PowerBolt's higher energy density offers reliability and stability. As well as having an LED battery capacity and voltage indicator, the PowerBolt has three buttons: one for turning Spektra Flux on/off and two for adjusting voltage quickly and easily. Press the up and down arrows to change the Spektra Flux voltage in 0.5V increments or decrements from 5V to 12V, with the LED colour corresponding to the voltage diagram on the PowerBolt. PowerBolt also offers the option of 'killswitching' the machine, which prevents the Spektra Flux from being accidentally switched on, useful when travelling.

Spektra Flux is Bluetooth-enabled, which means you can pair it with DarkLab's power supply and the Hover app. You can use the DarkLab app to wirelessly update Flux with the latest firmware, making it upgradeable.

The Spektra Rotary Flux is a direct-drive tattoo gun machine that offers zero sag and a 4mm stroke, meaning it excels in line, tint and solid colour. It's also very quiet when running and creates minimal vibration.
